The Story of Outliers

In 2021, Manly Danh moved from California to Miami, seeking a new chapter and community rooted in sport, culture, and connection. A lifelong athlete and triathlete, he quickly embraced Miami’s vibrant lifestyle—but soon discovered that its cycling scene often felt more exclusive than welcoming.

Rather than give up, Manly trained solo, wearing a kit from a friend’s small brand called Lost Dog Cycling—a personal joke about being the “lone rider” in a new city. Over time, he met other local athletes with similar stories of seeking genuine camaraderie. Together, they began to form a small, inclusive group that valued discipline, authenticity, and light over ego.

What started as a few friends riding together has now grown into a collective of 30+ athletes—a community built on shared values, relentless growth, and a mission to inspire others.

As the group evolved, so did its identity. Lost Dog became Outliers—a name that reflects unity, maturity, and purpose. No longer lost, but found. No longer outsiders, but a force that stands apart to shine brighter.

“Light shines brighter in dark places—so let’s bring all the lights together to make a fire.”

Today, Outliers represents a global vision: a movement of riders and athletes building culture, connection, and positivity—starting from Miami and spreading to the world.
